Tonight is Christmas w/ my side of participating family members @ Kathy (the one who stole all my boyfriends 'cept for Bubba_she can't help it if she's beautiful!), my nephew who is home from Harvard Business College & mad @ all the ignorant Republicans in the MidWest, but has promised not to talk politics. My neice & her 7 yr old twin boys, and 3 yr old lil Hellion, Lydia, who is the spittin image of Kathy @ that age. Angel sister Jan & hubby Rick are coming with their bad colds & Tina's(niece)spouse, Critter who is the same kinda counry boy as Bubba. I just have a big bag of Holiday Gee Gaws I will let everyone draw a decoration from the bag...my poor girl's version of presents for all. The family will miss Mokie Joe but will catch up on Monday w/his fam. This is nice. So many things in my life are REALLY nice once I think about it in the right way. I'm thinking good thoughts right now & will celebrate w/my Blogstream Fam on Christmas Rve Day.

Ok, another busy, kinda fun, good day. Going to Bubba's boy's Ted tonite for a lil pre-Christmas celebration...Billyjones was here once for Christmas & spent it with Bubba & his 5 brothers, and ex's, and kids & stepkids, and in general a full house @ Bibba's Mom's. She is totally flipped out w/her ever-increasing dementia so we are going for a quiet more intimate stetting @ Ted & Kristen. They have twins less than a yr old, Zach & Zoe, and then a 4 yr old blonde bombshell Jaelyn. Bubba's other boy,Larry Lee & Angie have 7 yr old Cole & 5 yr old Mara and they are all beauties to behold. Speaking of which I will be holding a twin when ever possible tonight & in small doses, this should be big fun, I always love spoiling other people's kids, and then giving them back. Bubba's Mom forgot that she didn't buy the family anything, so I'm pitching in w/some of my Christmas GEE-GAWS that I was fortune enought to tough it out & go shopping for awhile back. Gotts go...this will be nice & cozy-and we will still be in bed by 10pm. 1 more day of work, I'd rATHER be blogging than working, but hope to do thatr Sat/Sun/Mon. gotta go...c y'all

I pulled off another nice day cuz I just didn't get around to stressing out. Time got away from me, and hope to go in early to start the inventory that I was supposed to start today. Or not-I mean, WHAT? ME WORRY?

So, fyi: I took Bubba to see "King Kong" Sat. I took him cuz he really didn't think it looked like a good flick . I love the man, but I hate that he is right ALL of the time. Unless you've got the buck$ to burn, we do not recommend it...It was not worthy of Peter Jackson, but I doubt that Peter thinks my opinion worthy, either. I mean, 'cause I am the Nerd who DOES recommend "Serenity"...Bubba & I are both of this rare opinion...I have often mentioned our geek-like fondness for Science Fiction, I'm sure...We loved the "Firefly" series, got the DVDs, mourned the series passing, & celebrated the coming of the movie." Serenity" rocks, "King Kong" disappoints...just our opinions, as if anybody asks or care...

So, I'm doing good with the Seasonal Blues as of late. I suppose it will ebb & flow. I just run out of time, and can't find enough time to make the rounds of my friends in the Stream. Good Morning, Hi, Whassup, I am thinking about all of my friends here all of the time, off & on all day. I think about drinking a Corona with Lucy-w/limr, of course. Hey, if I got a Sirius radio, could I find Schree's station & show? How did Colo and Topaz get to be such loveable souls? I would really like to share some smoke signals with Scratch, sometime-even if it's long distance. We could time it right-4:20 on Thursday or a Saturday... or both... I like to picture my pups meeting Puppy's puppies; I bet I can guess what made Ice melt, or at least, I'd like to find out if my guess is anywhere near close. Pop, Mokie Joe, Billy, Soft-Haired JB....too many to name, too many to visit, not enough hours in the day, but I think about all of you all day long. And mostly, I have good days...Bubba wants to crash & I gotta pretend to be a mature, responsible adult first thing in the morning, & you know I'd rather be hanging out with youse guys, but I best crash now, so I may live to blog at y'all another day.

Bitter cold this AM, but most folks I encountered were high on life, as the gorgeouis sunrise preceeded our 1st non-gray day in weeks. It was a good day.

Afer work, my car was jumping & shimmying, but I had made a decision & I followed through...Drove to the nearby CVS, and did my spur-of-the-moment imitation of a Christmas shopper. Yup, it was crowded, but I braved the masses, went stright to the Christmas decoration section and began to gather pretty baubles, lil snow men, Santas & angels...I purchased many pretty trinketts to pass out to friends and family as my token Christmas presents. Kept my nervousness to a minimum, and accomplished more points to be added toward my Merry Christmas goal.

Really tired now, & I NEED to close my eyes & rest. I have no choice but to obey my current heart's desire for sleep so perhaps I can blog a good story for my kind friends on the morrow.

Hey! Is this a great blogstream or what? I mean, like, here I am pouring on the drama, feeling like a borderline Scrooge, and here come other folks to comfort me and say "Yeah, we hear what you're saying, and we've been feeling the same way, but we are here for you, and we will all get through this, with a little help from our friends..." These are the words of comfort that I was fishing for, and whaddya know? I caught 'em! I feel better already! I even feel a quite a bit more Christmasey than when I started these series of somber Christmas posts, that I have been bumming myself out with as of late. Tonight, I feel like it's "Mission accomplished!" Several folks understand, and empathize with the way I feel, and they are kindly reminding me that this, too, shall pass. And so it shall.

So, rounds went well. Visits with the folks were as good as it gets. I got to visit really quick w/buddy, Deb, and angel-sister Jan, & her loveable hubby, Rick. Jan showed me how to hit the enter button twice to skip a line fandango, and make my blogs easier to read. I know it sounds silly, but I just didn't know to do this before tonight-I am painfully computer illiterate, but I gotta tell ya, when some one takes the time to show me something-WAHOO! I can be a quick study!

Daze & Topaz, it means so much to me that you understand where I am coming from, and urge me to venture to keep the faith and withstand this jolly-good bump in the road...your words of comfort-comfort!

And thanks to my new Rock n roll bud, Petey...we love rock 'n roll,put another dime in the jukebox, baby! I love to talk the language of Rock, and methinks Petey & I are going to find lots to rock about in our future friendship.

Mokie-Joe-Bro..take it easy, honey. I love ya more than I love my luggage("Steel Magnolias"), but I'm just lookin for a lil Christmas Spirit here, and I ain't gonna find it poking around in your baggage...I mean, are you having a tough time, as well? Can I help?

I gotta get in touch with Lucee, Scratch & Schree to name but a few, there are just not enough blog hours in my lil world...
